Kingsway Rentals provides residential properties located on the Brighton seafront. Established in 1890, our estate features Victorian-era buildings updated with modern amenities. We offer well-maintained living spaces in a coastal location.

History of Kingsway

A storied legacy along the Brighton seafront, where Victorian grandeur endures
Located along Brighton & Hove’s historic coastline, this building began its story in 1864, when it was constructed as a family seaside residence for wealthy Londoners visiting the popular resort town. During the Victorian era, Brighton & Hove became a fashionable escape from London, and grand seafront homes like this one formed part of the elegant coastal landscape.
Inspired by the Regency architecture of Adelaide Crescent and Brunswick Terrace, The Kingsway Residence was built in 1890 with ornate ironwork balconies, sweeping sea-facing windows, and interiors that reflected the refined tastes of the era. Through two world wars and the changing tides of time, we have preserved the character and warmth that first welcomed residents over a century ago.

Booking & Reservations

You can book directly through our website, by calling our reservations team at +44 (0) 1273 722 068, or by emailing rent@thebrightonkingswayliving.com. Prospective residents are invited to contact the Sunport management team for private viewings by appointment via emailing to maintain the privacy and security of our current residents.

While we welcome short visits, The Kingsway specialises in extended stays. Our long-term packages begin from 14 nights, with preferential rates for monthly and seasonal bookings.

Yes. Reservations can be modified or cancelled up to 48 hours before your check-in date at no charge. For long-term bookings, please refer to your individual agreement or contact our team.

Long-Term Stays

Our long-term packages include weekly housekeeping, complimentary Wi-Fi, access to communal lounges, laundry facilities, and a dedicated point of contact for any needs during your stay.

Our monthly rental rates cover high-speed Wi-Fi, water, electricity, and Council Tax. There are no additional utility or local tax charges for residents.

Yes. While we no longer have a 24-hour hotel reception, Sunport provides dedicated property management to ensure the building is maintained to the highest standards and to assist with any maintenance needs.

Rooms & Facilities

Absolutely. Our reception team will accept and securely hold any post or parcels on your behalf and notify you upon arrival.

Select rooms and suites include kitchenette facilities with a microwave, mini-fridge, and essential cookware — ideal for guests on extended stays.

Guests can make use of nearby public car parks and street parking. Availability may vary depending on the time of day. You can send us a message inquiring for more information.

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at the property at this time.

Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged subject to availability — just ask our team.
